Electricity is a vital part of the infrastructure of modern society. The demand for high-quality electricity is constantly growing, and with it the requirements for the reliability of distribution networks. The GFN system will meet any single-phase earth fault protection requirements while ensuring the highest possible level of electrical safety.

Single-phase earth fault is the most common type of damage in electrical networks. Consequently, the solution of this problem is an extremely important aspect. In the event of a single-phase fault, the GFN system effectively neutralizes the current flowing at the fault site by injecting a current equivalent in magnitude but opposite in direction to the current into the neutral conductor. This is extremely fast and has no effect on the load current, the consumer will not even notice the presence of a short circuit in the network. Therefore, there is no need to disconnect the damaged connection and the power supply of all consumers fed from the damaged line is carried out without interruption.
