Low voltage overhead line solutions

These solutions are designed to meet the local conditions and requirements taking into account the urban, rural, forested areas, density of population, climatic conditions, available investments etc. All accessories have been developed and tested in close collaboration with electricity power companies.

Medium voltage overhead line solutions

Ensto has developed integrated product packages and solutions for various overhead lines from Bare Wires to Covered Conductors (CC) and Universal Cables. These packages are designed to meet local conditions and requirements. All accessories have been developed and tested in close collaboration with electricity power companies.

Surge Arresters

Appropriate overvoltage protection is fundamental in optimising the continuity of service, furthermore, it ensures personal safety and reduces immobilisation costs. VARISIL™ surge arresters can capitalize on a long and proven field experience. In particular, they have demonstrated their ability to operate durably even in the harshest environmental conditions.

Underground cable networks

Ensto offers a comprehensive solution for 1–42 kV underground cable networks. The products have been developed to endure the most varying and demanding conditions, and both their mechanical and electrical properties have been thoroughly type tested. Our products exceed the requirements of international and national standards.

Low voltage cable accessories

Ensto’s solutions for underground distribution networks include complete product packages for jointing and terminating low voltage underground cables.

Medium voltage cable accessories

Ensto’s solutions for underground distribution networks offer functional and reliable medium voltage packages with both heat and cold shrink technologies. Moreover, our hybrid joints are an effective and durable combination of both technologies. Our screened separable connectors are safe to use and easy to install.

Cable lugs and connectors

Ensto’s cable lugs and connectors are reliable and their shear head bolts guarantee a sure and even result. Products are designed to make installation as easy and effortless as possible without the need for special tools. Cable lugs and connectors are designed for a wide range of cross sections. They are suitable for cables with Al and Cu conductors and for both plastic and paper insulated cables.

Lamp post fixtures

We offer a wide selection of products for connecting and branching underground cables on lamp posts. Ensto’s lamp post fixtures are suited to many different lamp posts. The complete kits make installation work easy and fast.

Underground cable preparation tools

Needed tools for medium or high voltage undergound cable preparation, e.g. outer sheath removal, insulation screen removal and insulation removal.

Power quality

Ensto power quality solutions are maximizing the capacity, safety, and lifetime of existing low voltage grids with cost-effective and fast ways. They are developed and manufactured to represent the latest innovations and demands so that high-quality electricity can be delivered throughout the network.

ENSTO PHASE BALANSCER

Ensto Phase Balancer is device that will fix unbalance problems in low voltage distribution grids. Unit shall be installed parallel with distribution grid where the unbalance problem occurs. Ensto Phase Balancer will correct asymmetric load problem, increase short circuit current and decrease harmonic content in low voltage networks.
